Connie M. Schoenung was born in San Antonio, Texas. She was raised in the small town of Munger, Michigan and married after high school. Thereafter, Connie worked full-time as a single mom (son Kent) and went to college at night. Connie achieved her paralegal degree from Delta College University in Michigan in 1990. After moving to Texas in 1991, Connie strived to achieve her certification from NALA; and in 1993 became one of the first NALA certified legal assistants in Corpus Christi, Texas. Connie married her husband, Rick, in 1995, and while being a stay-at-home mom for their two children, Royston and Kayla, graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2005. Connie and her family moved to Middleburg, Florida in June of 2010. Connie operated a freelance paralegal business in Texas and carried it over to Florida. Connie has never given up the dream to attend law school and looks to be a very productive part of the Clay County legal community.
