Biography

Billy Davie graduated from Middleburg High School in 1995 and went on to Florida Atlantic University to graduate with a bachelors degree in History in 1999. He then attended The University of Florida Levin College of Law, graduating with Honors in 2002.

Billy was admitted to the Florida Bar in early 2003 and went on to spend three years as a trial court staff attorney in the First Judicial Circuit in Pensacola, Florida. In 2007, he began working as an associate for Gilligan, King, Gooding, and Gilford, P.A. in Ocala, Florida as a civil litigator, estate planning and probate attorney and spent four years at the firm. Then, in 2010, Billy moved back to Clay County to work at The Davie Law Firm, P.A. which was established by his father in 1986.

Billy served as the President of the Clay County Bar Association for 2017 to 2018 and has been named multiple times as a Rising Star by SuperLawyer.com, a designation reserved for the top 2% of attorneys under the age of 40 in the state. Billy also has a 10 out of 10, Superb rating on AVVO.com.

Billy works mainly in the probate, estate planning and civil litigation areas. His other areas of legal work include business litigation, contract disputes, landlord-tenant dispute, small claims practice, foreclosures (prosecution and defense), homeowners association dispute, and other general litigation issues.
