Biography

Maryanne graduated from the University of Florida (B.A., 1996 with honors, JD, 1999). She began her career as an Assistant State Attorney for the Fourth Judicial Circuit working for State Attorney Harry Shorstein. As a prosecutor, she prosecuted cases in Duval and Clay Counties in all Courts including Juvenile, Misdemeanor and Felony. She had the opportunity to prosecute all types of crimes including DUI, Domestic Battery, Sexual Battery, and Murder. She practices Criminal and Family Law.

Additional Information

Maryanne has served on the Florida Bar Fourth Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee. In addition, she belongs to the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She has served on the Family Law Inns of Court and the Indigent Service Committee for the Fourth Judicial Circuit. Maryanne is an adjunct professor at St. Johns River State College teaching Basic Law Enforcement, Criminal and Constitutional Law.
